The urban jungle is typified by large cities; it’s regarded especially as a harshly competitive, unwelcoming, and dangerous place; we see the resilience, strength and fun of those who inhabit these jungles and have crafted a Gin that allows jungle dwellers to stop and enjoy.
Our Gin is distilled in such a subtle and delicate way that the individual character and blend of all the botanicals dance on your palate. Our gin is not all flowers and rainbows, it is deep and mysterious demonstrating a Juniper lead and full bodied heat that you can settle into throughout an afternoon or evening.
We are an independant urban distillery who creates the finest quality small batch gin infused with Juniper, Coriander, Angelica Root, Cassia, Licorice Root, Bitter Almond, lemon peel, Grains of Paradise, cubeb, and orris root!
We drink our Urban Gin and especially Urban Gin “The Rocks” neat, it is beautifully rounded and stands alone or with a glass full of ice like all high quality spirits should.
We like G&T’s 4 ways; with fresh Lime, Lemon or Cucumber and when the season allows it we choose fresh Pomegranate in generous proportions! Take your glass add plenty of ice, 1 part gin, 3 parts of a subtle tonic and your choice of fresh garnish.
The Negroni is a popular Italian cocktail, made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso, and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel. It is considered an apéritif. A properly made Negroni is stirred, not shaken, and built over ice and garnished with a slice of orange.
The Gimlet has been around since the 1850’s and was originally promoted in New York by doctors as a common cold remedy, today it is simply a delightful sweet cocktail typically made of 4 parts gin, 1 part simple syrup and 1 part lime juice. Add ice, shake hard and strain with a garnish of lime.
The Martini is a cocktail made with 6 parts gin and 1 part dry vermouth, and garnished with an olive or a lemon twist. Pour all ingredients into mixing glass with ice cubes. Stir well. Strain into a chilled Martini cocktail glass. Squeeze oil from lemon peel onto the drink, or garnish with olive.
